Visions Internships helps purpose-driven young people get meaningful real-world experience serving social impact organizations in need of project support. A woman-owned social enterprise, we are deeply committed to leaving this world better and brighter than we found it.
Fun fact about Visions Internships’ name origin:
Launched during COVID, Visions Internships was originally named Virtual Internship Solutions (VIS). We soon realized our company name was too long to remember and realized we needed something a little punchier. Given the visionary individuals and organizations we serve, “Visions” seemed like the perfect fit… until a friend suggested we add “Internships” so people knew what industry we are in and didn’t mistake us for eye doctors.
What Drives Us
Visions Internships founder Amy Mosher Berry believes the greatest travesty of our time is failing to leverage motivated young talent to tackle our greatest social and environmental challenges (just look at the headlines). We believe purpose-driven twentysomethings constitute the largest untapped reservoir of human potential that, if harnessed effectively, could truly transform our world.
As a social entrepreneur, college professor, and community development professional, Amy saw a stark need to connect social impact organizations with eager young talent ready to upskill and make a difference.
Amy combined her deep knowledge of organizational needs and young professionals' desires to create Visions Internships.
Unlike other firms, we don't just matchmake on autopilot and hope it works out. We find, train, and then support our interns throughout the program, including heavily investing in them with a 25-hour pre-project training program valued at more than $10,000 per person. And once the project starts, an experienced consultant guides and mentors them along the way, providing the infrastructure to ensure a smashing success.
