As we wrap up Women’s History Month, I reflect on the little woman I am raising.

All of a sudden we find ourselves in a familiar seasonal limbo– somewhere between summer and fall– plotting our plans for maximum productivity between now and Thanksgiving.

Have you done anything fun this summer? Got any cool plans lined up? Chipping away at important projects? In case this helps– it’s never too late!

Sometimes my heart feels so heavy with sorrow and disbelief about how some humans treat other humans, I just want to crawl into a hole and escape the insanity.

Human relationships… Complex, I know. But what if we started with the relationship we have with ourselves? What do you think about yourself? Your preferences? Your strengths? Your potential?

In-person. Online. Both. None of the above. Constantly weighing the pros and cons. The juggle. The struggle. Is real. Big dreams in limbo as day-to-day needs win the day.

Setting effective goals has long been equated with the acronym SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

It has been said, “Facts tell. Stories sell.” In other words, when we only spout out facts and figures--people are more apt to glaze over and disconnect.

If you’re reading this, I want to express particular gratitude. Yes, we all have the same 24 hours in a day, 168 hours in a week… but how do we choose to use it?
