April Means Adventure!

Is it just me, or did the spring flowers bloom overnight?

Just like that, we set aside the winter hats and marvel at the sweet smelling yellows and whites.

April - like life - can be unpredictable, yet beautiful... Filled with surprises and adventures if you allow them to be part of your world.

If you are leading an organization, a program, or a family, are you allowing space for adventure?

If you are someone preparing for your next career chapter, are you stretching outside of your comfort zone?

Building on these questions, no matter where you are in life...

• Are you trying new things?
• Are you meeting new people?
• Are you listening for and creating opportunities for collaboration?
• Are you practicing giving back with no strings attached?

You're probably thinking at this point, "Oh, Amy, that all sounds nice, but it's easier said than done; I barely have time to brush my teeth!"

Trust me, I reeeally get that! But, in my experience, I've learned without making space for the spontaneous - adventure (and, by extension, joy) has little place to dwell.

If April means Adventure, what could you plan for fun and/or growth this month? If you can't think of anything, Google something you've always been curious about and go ahead and share your top 3 search result with a friend. (Possibility lives in dialogue vs, monologue!)

And if you're feeling really wild, you might even venture into action.
