You might be thinking, that’s cute but how do generative AI (GenAI) tools like ChatGPT fit into today’s hiring mix? While there has been a significant jump in the number of openings that mention GenAI and more young people seeking these roles, it is unlikely AI will measurably alter our work lives this year or next.


That said, this year is a great time to look at industries like HR that are more quickly adopting GenAI to expand their reach and automate inefficient processes– hopefully in ways that will preserve human dignity and connection, especially in the Human Resources field!


While the so-called Great Resignation has eased, unemployment remains historically low, and people are appearing to stay put– probably related to the uncertainty of an election year– there are still many young people (whether they hold a college degree or not) hungry to get out there and engage in meaningful work helping you achieve your goals.
