Hello, Organizational Leaders!
My name is Amy Mosher Berry and I started Visions Internships in 2020 to connect ‘Do-Good’ organizations with critical project support. I guess I just like the idea of leaving this world better than I found it.
With over 20 years of diverse community development experience in for-profit, nonprofit, and government roles, I really get firsthand what it’s like to be stretched so thin you feel like you’re going to implode.
I’m just going to pause for a hot minute to acknowledge YOU.
For all the effort you put in. For the constant juggling. For how much you care about making a positive difference in our world.
THANK YOU for leading -- whether it be a company, a department, a program, or one person. While others wait for others to step up, YOU STEP UP. But ya know what? No one said you have to do it all yourself indefinitely. We’re simply not meant to know or do all the things. Getting help with work projects is possible.
If you’ve ever wanted (or had) a steady, effective internship program, but scrapped it given the amount of work that comes along with it, you are not alone.
Where I believe I can make the greatest impact is in leveraging my matchmaking and training abilities - Insert Visions Internships.
We absolutely love connecting young people with solid experiences that build up their confidence and prospects for career success. Likewise, we are sort of obsessed with providing project support for organizations that help people and/our planet. (We use the U.N.’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a guiding framework.)
We serve socially and/or environmentally conscious organizations (for-profit, nonprofit, or government) that are in need of reliable, affordable project support, but lack the time to find, train, and manage interns.
Our weekly Wednesday “Visions Internships Blog” will speak directly to young professionals ages 19-29 on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month and to socially and environmentally conscious organizational leaders on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.
Thank you for all you do and, more importantly, thank you for who you are.
Virtual high-five coming your way!
