Grateful vs. Thankful

If I am fortunate enough to have had you open this message, I am mindful that I probably have about 7 seconds to capture your attention, especially this close to Thanksgiving.

First and foremost – Thank YOU for being part of the Visions Internships community. I appreciate you so much!

Now on to today’s topic…

Have you ever used Grateful and Thankful interchangeably? I know I have! Here are a few interesting ways the two similar terms differ-- in case you need a neutral topic for discussion around the dinner table...

One is not better than the other. In fact, as in so many other aspects of life… we can be both! Some even say, “Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude.”

What do you think? More importantly, how do you live?
